OBJECTIVE 

Unilever US needed to increase its share of the growing need for dry hair solutions particularly among African American and Latino Women. This needed to be achieved without significant changes to the existing TRESemmé formula.

 

SOLUTION

We partnered with Unilever/U-Studio and created a 15 second ripomatic film. We conceptualised TRESemmé’s new Ultimate Hydration Shampoo and Conditioner campaign to reinforce their professional credentials in tackling dry hair issues via their Expert range and seize a more premium position within the core benefit space of ‘dry hair’. 

 

OUTCOME

This was Unilever/U-Studio’s first major beauty ripomatic film campaign and a great platform in delivering premium, innovative visual content for the US brand. The film broke all previous pre-testing records and tested highly with the audience’s engagement even without significant product innovation. We focussed on the key product benefits and diversity that empowered all women in achieving great hair with TRESemmé’s Ultimate Hydration range and this successfully launched it in the US.
