OBJECTIVE

To elevate luxury travel post-pandemic, increase advertising revenue and circulation sales for Harper's Bazaar and create a special editorial guide. 

 

SOLUTION

We created a hotly anticipated travel supplement to provide readers with inspirational destinations they could plan, including long-haul adventures or cosseted splendour closer to home. Nieal worked with the editorial team and contributing travel editor/influencer Lucy Halfhead to design direct and curate the high-quality travel imagery for the luxury guide.

OUTCOME

Harper's Bazaar’s received a great response from advertisers, industry leaders, readers, and sponsors boosting revenue for the magazine.

HARPER’S BAZAAR TRAVEL GUIDE 2022, HEARST MAGAZINES UK

For the leading fashion, beauty, and lifestyle title Harper’s Bazaar, the Creative Director of ClickX Agency worked with the dynamic in-house editorial team and contributing women artists to design direct the Bazaar Art.

 

The ninth annual issue of Bazaar Art was guest-edited by the Turner Prize-winning British Black artist Lubaina Himid, who wanted to celebrate diversity, inclusivity and female “collaboration”. We explored everything from Tacita Dean’s commission for the Royal Ballet and Chanel’s patronage of the National Portrait Gallery, to Marina Abramovic partnership with Willem Dafoe and profiled the up-and-coming British Black artist, Rachel Jones (featured on the cover).

 

With its own unique wisdom and vision Bazaar Art received a great response from industry leaders, readers, and sponsors.
